The trip was planned mainly to meet up with Kitty. I was not really sure if I would be able to make it to the flight because as the departure date neared, the flight became more and more overbooked. Luckily, I got on.
There was a little confusion when I arrived at the airport as I received a text from Kitty that they would be at the T2. My plane landed at T3 so I went to T2 only to find out after an hour that Kitty and Bert were at T3. Wahaha.
Bert's place was at the opposite end of the airport. Travel time: 1 hour. We arrived there at about 5pm and had dinner (which Kitty prepared) with Lucio. Chopsuey and tilapia. It was Good Friday! After dinner, we went out to check out Orchard Road. I loved the ice cream sandwich!
The following day was Sim Lim day. I've been to Singapore twice before so it was ok not to go anywhere. I was there to check the prices of lens and other gadgets. Disappointingly, most of the gadgets were pricier than the ones in Manila. We bought my extension tubes and flash for my camera as well as the PSP which I started to hate the moment I arrived back in Doha. Grr.
Anyway, coming back, I was on jumpseat. I almost got a seat but unfortunately the passenger showed up. I guess we were unlucky that night because 12 crew had to join us because the aircraft was grounded. :(
