Great Singapore Sale

12-15 June
Singapore
SINGAPORE

I was looking forward to the trip. Great Singapore Sale. I had 200 USD. Haha. I was to meet the Engineer on Friday and Kitty on Saturday. I was so excited!

On Friday, I arrived at 1430H. I met the Engineer as planned. Unfortunately, he was sick. After checking in at the hotel, we never went out. Except for the time when I bought some meds for him. We had takeout BK for dinner.

The following morning, the Engineer was still sick. We had breakfast at the hotel. Then he slept again. I went out to buy alcohol and thermometer. I bought wonton soup for the Engineer's lunch. Late afternoon, he said he's feeling better so we went to Sim Lim Square which was just right across our hotel. Kaya lang 30 minutes pa lang kaming naglalakad, the Engineer felt tired na. :( So we just ate dinner at the food court then uwi na ulet.

The next morning, medyo maganda na. Although not completely well, we decided to go out. Wala na kasi kaming nagawa. I was feeling irritated na. So paglabas namin, we ate at Toastbox. Tapos nagbook na kami ng Ducktours. We had lunch sa Food Republic (ng nakatayo because there was no available table in there). In the afternoon, we met Kitty, Bert and Carlo. We got on the Singapore Flyer which was the most boring thing in Singapore. Haha. Ok, whatever. Then we went our separate ways. Kitty and company stayed at Suntec while the Engineer and I joined the Moonlight tour to Sentosa. We ate dinner at the hotel again.

On our 4th day, we had breakfast at DeliFrance. Wrong choice. Food was completely ewww. We went back to the hotel to checkout. Tapos we met na the Engineer's friends at their hotel. We had lunch at Food Republic (Wisma) and then strolled along Orchard Road. Then nung napagod, we went back to the hotel to rest. Tapos we went out ulet sa Sim Lim and had chilli crab and pepper crab for dinner. We ended the night at Bugis. :D After that, uwi na ko. Sad, sad. I was checked in as soon as I arrived. Flight was ok. :)

Tagaytay Getaway

16-17 May
Tagaytay
PHILIPPINES

We have always wanted to go to Tagaytay but we never found the time. Finally in May, we attended a wedding in Laguna and so we decided to spend the night in Tagaytay.

We didn't have a booking. We didn't have a plan. We almost went back to Manila. But while driving around, we saw the sign: TO NURTURE SPA. We drove and drove and drove. The night was dark and we didn't know when we'll find the place. At last, after a while, we found it and asked if there was a room available. Kind of reminded me of the panunuluyan except that I'm not pregnant. :D

There was a room available so we booked the room and our massage for the next morning. We had pasta dinner after which we called it a night. We've been up since early morning.

The following day, we had our 'free' breakfast (it was included in the overnight stay) and waited for our masahista. We started our ventosa session at around 930am. It was so soothing I fell asleep. Iba talaga haplos ng masahista sa Nurture Spa! :D

We had lunch at Carlo's Pizza. Then we headed home to Nueva Ecija. From South to North. Quite tiring but it was well worth it. I'm planning to go back.
