I'm going home. Yey! This trip has been planned long time ago but was almost cancelled because of my transfer to the other department. My new boss wouldn't allow me to go on leave for some illogical reasons that only his brain must be capable of mustering. Stubborn me, I got the approval of his boss and his boss' boss. Haha!
Given that his superiors signed my leave form, he didn't have much choice but to let me go. But before he actually did, he gave me one condition: I should finish the project he asked me to do. I wanted to scream when I heard that because I thought that I won't be able to finish it given that I only had 1 week left. It's some sort of a POC that only I, me and myself is tasked to do. I tried to explain to him that it won't be possible to do it due to certain limitations of the application I'm using (and left unsaid, my nil knowledge of VB programming). His reply was a nonchalant, "It's your problem, not mine."

Harassment must be his line of expertise since he again gave me another task, in addition to the one he has asked me to finish. And this one too, should be submitted before I leave! A**hole!
Of course I won't be defeated in this game he's trying to play. Pinoy yata ako! At pag gusto kong umuwi, uuwi ako. So I worked overtime, overnight and over the weekend just to finish everything. And I did! Hmmm..must be that I underestimated my skills again. (I think I'm falling in love with myself. Haha! Baliw!)
Now I just have to wait...and try my best to get a good night's sleep. Syeeeet! Antagal pa ng Sunday!!!
